Young controls Plasma samples from young individuals were obtained from Cambridge BioScience Ltd. (9 Caucasians, 7 Asians, 1 Black, 3 Mixed), from blood samples collected on heparin; these samples were compared to SENIOR and SHATAU7-IMATAU cohorts (Table 1) [11]. Middle-aged controls Blood samples from parents of individuals with Down syndrome (Aneuploidy program [13]) have been collected on sodium citrate and collected plasmas were used to compare with patient cohorts.
