Jeff Fox’s Biography

Jeff Fox, editor of StateoftheNet.Net, writes about privacy and security from a consumer perspective.

Previously, he was Technology Editor of Consumer Reports (1990-2014), where he investigated and reported on a wide variety of technology issues. From 2005-2014, he directed the annual Consumer Reports State of the Net survey. Before that, he was co-founder and President of Fox & Geller, where he authored and published best-selling software titles for the PC market.
