The monthly series of free lunchtime concerts at Davis Community Church, 412 C St., continues at noon Friday, July 10. Featured will be Yolo Hot Club, a jazz manouche, or gypsy jazz, instrumental string trio. They perform in the style of the Parisian hot jazz clubs of the 1930s and 1940s, when musicians like guitarist Django Reinhart and violinist Stephane Grappelli were in their heyday.

Early May gets underway with concerts featuring music from several eras — Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and contemporary Americana. There will be even more concerts coming up during mid-May and late May. But there the spring concert season wraps up pretty quickly during the first part of June, and from mid-June onward through the summer, most of the concert opportunities will be at festivals held on the coast or in the mountains. * Monday, May 4, 7 p.m. Davis Community Church, 412 C St., Davis.
