To share with the world an aspect of life that's true and real, perhaps something that's never been seen before :-)

Why did you become a journalist?
To show the world the reality of what the Catholic Church is...her mission, her depth...her beauty.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Nope.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
An article about a group of people take there Faith to the New York City Subways.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
It's about passion, energy and perseverance. Push through the doubts...you'll get there.

How would you like to photograph a Catholic Mass at the Summit of Mt. Everest?

To cover (but actually to promote) a guy that thought he was the second coming.

Martini.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Training. I escape the world by training for triathlons...there's nothing better than seeing the sunrise after a session!
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
It was the epic 'The Last Magazine'...but really just for the massive images and brilliant layouts, but now it's USA Triathlon, or Times.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That I know what I'm doing.
