GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) - When students walk through the halls of the brand new Grand Junction High School for the first time on Thursday, they’ll embark on a new journey. One that is 68 years in the making. The ribbon was cut this morning for the new Grand Junction High School, but before the scissors hit the ribbon, a statue was unveiled in front of the school. A bronze tiger now stands by the cafeteria doors of the new school, welcoming students into the building each day.
