The Simple Slushy Calculator. This one has been bugging me for a while – it’s far from simple under the hood. In fact, I’ve been slowly and quietly working on it for the past year in total frustration because I thought it was that important. Okay, so you guys know how much I hate the gatekeeping that happens from time to time in this industry. Believe it or not, there are bartenders out there who would rather die than help other people make great drinks. It sucks.

I’ve been going through my personal booze collection lately and I’ve found a lot of duplicates and extras that – while I love having a healthy home bar – I’d love to share with the world rather than hoarding. After I’d put out the Batch Cocktail Calculator and the Universal Syrup Calculator, my friend Chuck reached out to me and said “Why not make an iPhone and iPad app that can do all of that *and* store a database of cocktails as well? And after a lot of discussing, planning, coding, and testing we’re finally there.
