Today, women make up more than half the church and do much of the mission, ministry, and discipleship in the church’s life. However, women have often been held back from ministry roles, including theological education and leadership of theological institutions. We need a biblical vision for women in ministry, leadership, and theology.

Let’s celebrate “expert leaders”, say Jen Barker and Tom Rees, and stop always talking about charismatic, dynamic, inspirational leaders Both of us have learnt the hard way that school leadership can be complex and challenging. Of course we remember the moments when the proverbial was hitting the fan and problems had to be dealt with, fast.

Have you noticed an uptick of irritable friends and colleagues who happen to be sipping on mysterious green beverages? I’m betting they’re on a juice cleanse. Cleansers apologize when hangry, gloat about the euphoric rush they get after slurping down nutrient-rich juice and brag about their now-radiant skin and disappearing muffin-top. As I write this, I am sipping the final juice of my first 15 day cleanse.
