(WJW) — The first half of the Friday will feature some sunshine. The second half of the day, clouds increase and a few rain showers show up in our southern communities. Highs on Friday will be in the lower to mid 70s. Rain showers will start to lift from south to north across the area after 4 p.m. on Friday. Off-and-on rain showers will continue through Friday night and even into Saturday morning.

A wide range in temperatures is expected due to the timing of the shower activity. Temperatures will be cooler northwest with temps in the low 60s to around 70 in our southeastern communities. Showers develop midday and continue through the afternoon. The cold front moves out of the area by 7 p.m., so look for a dry but chilly evening.
