Every Wednesday, the roundabout next to the Richter Library transforms into a hub of flavor and community. The Wednesday Farmers Market — often called “Market Wednesday” — comes alive. Students and faculty can smell the amazing aromas from anywhere on campus. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., tents line the pathways by the library ready to serve tropical smoothies, BBQ, tacos, pizza, bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches and ceviche. Students on their way to class pause to grab lunch and socialize.

Spanish-born, experimental artist Rosalia has finally announced her new and anticipated album titled “LUX.” This album will feature 18 tracks, three of which are available only in physical form, as well as collaborations with many artists, including Björk, the Montserrat choir, Yves Tumor, and more. Her album will also feature songs in more than 5 different languages, including Portuguese, Ukrainian, and German.

Under the fluorescent glow of the Miami Design District, creativity pulsed from the walls of the Paradise Plaza Building. The space — usually reserved for sleek storefronts and tourists with designer bags — had been transformed into something far more human: a pop-up playground of sound, fashion and culture courtesy of the Nude Project. The pop-up, open from Oct. 11 to 26, featured Puerto Rican artists Pink Pablo, Matt Louis and producer duo Slow Jamz.
