York City police are looking for the people who shot two men minutes apart Friday night on separate streets. A 39-year-old man was shot at about 7:08 p.m. on the 500 block of Pershing Avenue, police said. According to police, a 19-year-old man was also shot, around 7:15 p.m. in the area of North Penn and Smyser streets. Both of the men’s injuries were non-life-threatening, police said. The men were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

A Lancaster County section of Route 30 is closed after a late Saturday morning crash. The closure went into effect around 11:17 a.m. on Route 30 east, between Hensel Road, Hoover Road and the Newport Pike, according to 511PA. Traffic maps show multiple vehicles were involved in the crash. It’s unclear whether anyone was hurt, as well as how long it will take for the highway to reopen.

An ice sculpture crushed and killed a small dog in York this week, news reports said. The dog’s leash at about 2 or 3 p.m. Friday got tangled around a sculpture in the area of Holy Hound Taproom, on the first block of West Market Street, according to the York Dispatch. “I heard on dispatch that [there] was an owner with the dog,” York Fire Chief William Sleeger Jr. told the Dispatch.
