As activity slows down on campus during summer term, expect to see reduced hours for many buildings and services during the coming months. Most locations and services will be closed for Juneteenth on June 19 and Labor Day on Sept. 1. The Independence Day holiday will be observed July 3 with America’s 250th being July 4. Summer classes begin June 22 with the 12-week session ending Sept. 11.

The University of Oregon spring break runs March 21-29. With the break in the academic schedule comes changes to university campuses. Many university buildings on the Eugene campus will be locked from March 20 at regular closing time until the morning of March 30 as part of the Safety and Risk Services holiday and academic break door lock procedure. Employees may access locked buildings with keys and prox cards or contact their supervisor to request access.

Jingle all the way down 13th Avenue to the Flagship Campus Duck Store in Eugene for the University of Oregon faculty, staff and graduate employee appreciation party taking place Dec. 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. A bounty of free snacks, pizza and refreshments, including wine, will be available across the three levels of the store. Preserve priceless holiday memories at the photo booth with Santa Claus and Santa Duck.
