Most people cannot fathom running 100 miles all at once. Bemidji friends Kerrie Berg and Andrea Patten couldn't either. Until they decided to do it. Berg and Patten were recent Bright Spot guests on the KAXE Morning Show. We heard about their experience running the Hood Hundred Aug. 1-2 on Mount Hood in Oregon. "We started running trail marathons, and then we did a 50-miler, and then ... 'Oh, let's do 100,'" Patten said.

BEMIDJI — Robotics is growing as an activity in local schools, but finding room to build and practice can be a challenge. Luckily a new space has been created for robotics students. The North STAR (Science, Technology, Automation & Robotics) Center is located at the Beltrami County Fairgrounds in Bemidji.
