Editor of a quarterly magazine for a national education association. Then I was an assistant editor at Cat Fancy magazine 😂

Why did you become a journalist?

I have always been inherently curious about people and places, love words and linguistics, and I have an editor's eye.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

No, but I did work for my college newspaper. I was the features editor and loved it!

When's the best time to pitch you?

More than a week before my article is due.

What's your favorite drink?

Vodka tonic, extra lime.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

At a coffee shop, walking my downtown neighborhood, or watering my plants.
