How is social media changing news?
Social media has become the pulse of news: we hear about things through video/tweets even faster than traditional news can actually report.
What's your favorite social network?

Why did you become a journalist?
I always knew I wanted to write, and journalism seemed the most accessible route to talk about issues important to me and to write.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Rejection and being ignored is a big part of writing: keep your chin up and keep trying.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
I was once pitched to buy phone cases with a 10% discount to be a brand ambassador.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
I'm either taking a nap, or I'm on my phone looking up tuna salad recipes.
