Jennifer thrives on off-the-beaten-path itineraries and is passionate about thrifting, food & beverage, philanthropy, sustainability, and wedding-related travel.

A month-long trip at the age of 14 inspired Jennifer's wanderlust, and during that journey, her parents exposed her to nine different countries. The sights, culture, and cuisine of each made a strong impression. Since then, Jennifer has cruised the Caribbean and Mediterranean, scoured European and Central American cities for unique things to do, and perused towns close to her home state of Virginia. She has also done extensive mission work with children in Africa, Nepal, China, and Mexico.

Jennifer graduated with a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, after which she taught for four years. She currently resides in Virginia with her husband of 25 years, three children, one granddaughter, and five felines. Other than travel and writing, Jennifer enjoys 80s music, vintage things, fostering kittens, time with family, and vegetarian cuisine.
