But when I need something specific, I’m not willing to wait days, weeks, months, or even years to find it, which is one of the reasons Facebook Marketplace is one of the first places I look when I’m on a timeline.

What was your first job as a journalist?

As a former science major, I've somewhat created my own jobs. I owned 2 print magazines, have 2 blogs, and freelance a bunch!

Have you ever used a typewriter?

I have! I actually took a word processor with me to college, which was amazing technology for the time. It was a lifesaver. Ha!

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

I use Google Docs and Grammarly's premium version (to proofread). I heavily rely on thesarus.com to be creative and use different words.
