Not long ago I came across the book “Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway” written by Susan Jeffers. Sometimes I can be the kind of person that wants to control EVERYTHING — how others view me, think about me, and if I’ve done a good job in making a good first impression. But all of this comes down to caring too much and trying to have everything expected as I go. More importantly it can lead to negative self talk when trying to control other people’s perception. It’s always I, I, I, my, my, my.
