BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Frost Advisory is in effect for most of Western New York, including Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee and Wyoming counties from midnight until 9am Saturday morning. Temperatures are expected to fall into the mid 30s to even lower 30s early Saturday morning, which will allow a frost to form, especially areas away from Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. The growing season in this area starts May 1.
