Democrats on Capitol Hill are grappling with an immigration enforcement mystery: how many beneficiaries of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program have been deported since President DONALD TRUMP took office. In letters over the past ten months, Democrats have been asking the Department of Homeland Security for the number of Dreamers, be they DACA recipients or applicants, that have been detained and deported by immigration officers since January 2025.
