Can digital brain training meaningfully transfer into real life? I had the privilege of watching how a carefully designed digital therapeutic could move beyond the screen and into real life. During the clinical trials of NeeuroBike, I found my answer—in the most heartwarming way. Our goal was simple—but ambitious: help seniors build physical and cognitive resilience through structured, engaging training. What we didn’t expect was how deeply the experience would transfer into real life.

From the sticks and stones fashioned by our early human ancestors to the cutting-edge technology available to us today, we are no strangers to wielding tools. Unfortunately, it appears that we have evolved from wielding tools to relying wholly on technology, to the point where there are instances where we have done away with human ingenuity and creativity.
