Our research introduces a groundbreaking stretchable adhesive hydrogel designed to reconnect damaged nerve tissues and seal injuries without the need for stitches. Our designed hydrogel is composed of biocompatible materials with mechanical properties inspired by native neural tissues. This hydrogel outperforms current commercial sealants in adhesion while showing electroconductivity, aiding in the transmission of neuro signals to support normal nerve function.
