Stock Price Manipulation and the Cost of Debt
1 Introduction Stock price manipulation is a widespread form of illegal activity in global equity markets (Cumming et al. 2020). Manipulators mimic the trading behavior of informed investors to mislead uninformed traders into believing that undisclosed information is driving stock prices, thereby distorting market perceptions of a stock's fundamentals and pushing prices in directions favorable to the manipulators (Allen and Gale 1992).

Observation of exact quantum critical states
|
Abstract Anderson localization describes the suppression of wave transport in disordered media. In quantum systems, it gives rise to extended, localized and critical eigenstates, with the latter showing properties between the other two. Characterizing critical states is challenging because it requires analysis in the thermodynamic limit or a universal mechanism that identifies them.

Logical multi-qubit entanglement with dual-rail superconducting qubits - Nature Physics
|
Abstract Recent advances in quantum error correction in various hardware platforms have demonstrated operation near and beyond the threshold for fault-tolerant quantum computing. However, scaling up to achieve the exponential suppression of logical errors needed for fault tolerance remains challenging. Erasure qubits offer a path towards resource-efficient error correction, which enables the hardware-level detection of dominant error types.

Microgravity-enabled growth of uniform InAsSb bulk single crystal - npj Microgravity
Abstract The growth of compositionally uniform InAs1-xSbx bulk crystals remains a formidable challenge due to severe solute segregation and morphological instability under terrestrial conditions. Here, we report the successful growth of a single-crystalline InAs0.933Sb0.067 alloy (x = 6.7 mol%) on an InAs seed via the vertical gradient freeze method aboard the China Space Station. Crucially, microgravity enables diffusion-dominated solidification by suppressing buoyancy-driven convection.
Room-temperature single-photon emission from β-Ga2O3 - Nature Communications
Abstract Single photon emitters (SPEs) hosted by the wide bandgap semiconductors have the great potential to enable quantum applications at room temperature. Recently, many defect-based SPEs have been discovered in various wide bandgap materials, such as diamond, AlN, SiC, h-BN, GaN and ZnO.

Flexible and temperature-responsive hydrogel dressing for real-time and remote wound healing monitoring
Flexible and temperature-responsive hydrogel dressing for real-time and remote wound healing monitoring Ji Jiang, Jie Ding, Xiaoyang Wu, Mingze Zeng, Yuan Tian, Kai Wu, Dan Wei, Jing Sun, Zhenzhen Guo and Hongsong Fan Abstract Wound management is highly clinic desirable due to the complexity and diversity of its repair process. However, it’s still a major clinical challenge to develop a wound dressing with the capabilities of real-time and remote monitoring during wound healing.
Blue light-emitting diodes based on quasi-two-dimensional perovskite with efficient charge injection and optimized phase distribution via an alkali metal salt | Nature Electronics
Abstract Perovskite light-emitting diodes are of potential use in the development of colour displays and solid-state lighting. This requires high-performance blue perovskite emission. However, quasi-two-dimensional blue perovskite light-emitting diodes exhibit lower performance than green- and red-emitting devices due to poor charge injection between the hole injection layers and perovskite film, high amounts of non-radiative recombination and random phase distribution.

Angiotensin II Type 2 Receptor Modulates Synovial Macrophage Polarization by Inhibiting GRK2 Membrane Translocation in a Rat Model of Collagen-Induced Arthritis
Xinming Wang, Jiajie Tu, Ji Jiang, Qiaolin Zhang, Qi Liu, Heinrich Körner, Jingjing Wu, Huaxun Wu and Wei Wei J Immunol December 1, 2020, 205 (11) 3141-3153; DOI: https://doi.org/10.4049/jimmunol.2000561 Key Points The imbalance between AT1R and AT2R could be involved in advancing RA progression. AT2R activation supports an M2 phenotype in SMs that attenuates the course of CIA. AT2R-caused cytoplasm GRK2/p-ERK1/2 coexpression can downregulate NF-κB activation.
