Antibiotic prescribing appropriateness by diagnosis in village clinics in rural Shandong China from 2021 to 2023
Abstract Inappropriate antibiotic prescribing in primary care remains a major and modifiable driver of antimicrobial resistance, particularly in rural China. This study aimed to analyze trends, patterns and appropriateness of antibiotic prescribing in village clinics. We collected and analyzed monthly data from 95 clinics across six townships in Shandong Province (April 2021–September 2023).
Data-driven urban energy saving optimization: a path to carbon reduction in smart cities
ABSTRACT Traditional urban management models often suffer from data silos and delayed responses, hindering effective energy conservation under the “dual carbon” strategy. To address this, we propose a multi-source data-driven closed-loop optimization mechanism, validated using operational data from Shenzhen. By integrating NB-IoT and sensor data across buildings, transportation, and industry, the system establishes a “perception-determination-execution-feedback” loop.
Relative contributions of environmental pollen exposure and host susceptibility to Artemisia -related sensitisation and allergy in a high-exposure region of Northern China: a population-based cross-sectional study
Abstract Objective: Artemisia pollen is a major airborne allergen in northern China; however, the relative contributions of environmental pollen exposure and host susceptibility to allergic disease remain unclear in high-exposure regions. Methods: A population-based cross-sectional study was conducted in Yulin City, China, involving 12,345 participants recruited through multistage stratified cluster sampling. Serum Artemisia-specific IgE was measured in 3,130 participants.
