Clinical and genetic characteristics of patients with disorders of sex development in a large unselected cohort of China
Abstract Disorders of sex development (DSD) encompass a range of congenital conditions characterized by atypical chromosomal, gonadal, or anatomical sex development. Accurate diagnosis and management of DSD are crucial for optimal patient outcomes. This research aims to characterize the clinical and genetic characteristics of a large Chinese cohort of children with non‑chromosomal DSD, with particular focus on the most frequently implicated genes and their diagnostic implications.

Herlyn-Werner-Wunderlich syndrome in three infants: a case report of surgical treatment
Abstract Oblique vaginal septum syndrome (Herlyn-Werner-Wunderlich syndrome) is a congenital reproductive tract malformation frequently accompanied by ipsilateral renal dysplasia. During infancy, it can lead to urinary tract infections, dysuria, and abdominal masses. Delayed intervention predisposes patients to hydronephrosis and even renal failure.

Rare SRY-negative 46,XX disorder of sex development with male phenotype and ectopic gonads: a case report
Abstract Individuals who exhibit male external genitalia and testicular tissue despite a 46,XX karyotype with SRY-Negative represent an exceptionally rare phenotype of disorders of sex development (DSD), and the underlying mechanism remains poorly understood. We report an 18-year-old patient with a 46,XX karyotype and a male phenotype who presented with a 2-year history of left scrotal pain. Physical examination demonstrated male-type external genitalia.
Network meta-analysis of different preoperative hormone therapies for improving postoperative complications in pediatric hypospadias

CORMs loaded nanoplatform for the single NIR light-activated bioimaging, gas therapy, and photothermal therapy in vitro
CORMs loaded nanoplatform for the single NIR light-activated bioimaging, gas therapy, and photothermal therapy in vitro Carbon monoxide (CO) can cause mitochondrial dysfunction, inducing apoptosis of cancer cells which sheds light on a potential alternative for cancer treatment. However, the existing CO-based compounds are inherently limited by their chemical nature, such as high biological toxicity and uncontrolled CO release.
