Comparative safety signals of carboplatin and cisplatin in lung cancer: a pharmacovigilance study based on FAERS
Abstract Background: Platinum-based chemotherapy remains a key component of lung cancer treatment. Although carboplatin and cisplatin are widely used, their real-world adverse-event reporting profiles may differ. This study compared carboplatin- and cisplatin-associated safety signals in lung cancer using the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS), with emphasis on organ-specific signals, demographic heterogeneity, and time-to-onset (TTO) patterns.

Foliar zinc oxide nanoparticles for cereal biofortification: dose–response and quality
Abstract Zinc (Zn) deficiency remains a major nutritional constraint in populations that rely heavily on cereal-based diets, while the low phytoavailability of Zn in many agricultural soils limits the effectiveness of conventional fertilization. This review therefore evaluates whether foliar-applied zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) can provide a more efficient strategy for cereal biofortification while maintaining crop safety and grain quality.

HAUS1-mediated activation of CDK4 transcription enhances proliferation, invasion and migration in hepatocellular carcinoma - Cancer Gene Therapy
|
Abstract Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is distinguished by aggressive proliferation, invasion, and migration, with its underlying molecular mechanisms remaining largely elusive. This study delves into the molecular mechanisms underlying HAUS1’s role in HCC progression, focusing on its regulatory relationship with Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 4 (CDK4).

Molecular Detection of kdr and superkdr Mutation Sites and Analysis of the Binding Modes of Pyrethroid Insecticides with Voltage-Gated Sodium Channels in the Plant Bug Lygus pratensis (Hemiptera: Miridae)
Introduction Click to copy section linkSection link copied! The plant bug Lygus pratensis Linnaeus (Hemiptera: Miridae) is a dominant herbivorous pest in the alfalfa and cotton areas of northwestern China, (1−5) causing significant economic losses (6,7) and reducing crop yield and quality. (8,9) Traditional control methods rely heavily on synthetic broad-spectrum pesticides such as cypermethrin, imidacloprid, malathion, and thiamethoxam, which are widely used for controlling L. pratensis.
Effects of multisensory stimulation on infants' learning of object pattern and trajectory
This study investigated whether infants encode better the features of a briefly occluded object if its movements are specified simultaneously by vision and audition than if they are not (data collected: 2017–2019).

Monocyte HLA‐DR level on admission predicting in‐hospital mortality rate in exertional heatstroke: A 12‐year retrospective study
1 INTRODUCTION Heatstroke (HS), classified as classic heatstroke (CHS) or Exertional heatstroke (EHS), is a fatal heat-related illness characterized by core temperature >40°C and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS), which is dominated by central nervous system (CNS) abnormalities, during passively encountering hot and humid environments or strenuous activities.1 During the 2003 European heat wave, HS caused about 30,000 deaths.2 When hypotension develops, the mortality rate in EHS is...

Cortical signatures of visual body representation develop in human infancy - Scientific Reports
Abstract Human infants cannot report their experiences, limiting what we can learn about their bodily awareness. However, visual cortical responses to the body, linked to visual awareness and selective attention in adults, can be easily measured in infants and provide a promising marker of bodily awareness in early life. We presented 4- and 8-month-old infants with a flickering (7.5 Hz) video of a hand being stroked and recorded steady-state visual evoked potentials (SSVEPs).
Method to Solve Underwater Laser Weak Waves and Superimposed Waves
Abstract : With the rapid development of Lidar technology, the use of Lidar for underwater terrain detection has become feasible. There is still a challenge in the process of signal resolution: the underwater laser echo signal is different to propagating in the air, and it is easy to produce weak waves and superimposed waves.
