Gut dysbiosis, metabolic signals, and pulmonary immune reprogramming: decoding the gut microbiota -immune axis in stroke-associated pneumonia
Abstract Stroke-associated pneumonia (SAP) is the most common infectious complication following acute stroke. The limited efficacy of conventional antimicrobial therapy suggests that SAP may be fundamentally a syndrome driven by dysregulated cross-system interactions.
Enhancing Wear Resistance of Ni@WC-Reinforced Laser Cladding Coatings on 304 Stainless Steel Through the Substrate–Coating Synergistic Effect
1 Introduction 304 austenitic stainless steel (304 SS) is extensively utilized across the aerospace [1], petrochemical [2], and marine engineering [3] sectors, owing to its superior corrosion resistance, exceptional formability, and cost-effectiveness [4, 5]. However, its deployment in extreme tribological environments—specifically those involving high contact loads—is severely hindered by its low intrinsic hardness and deficient wear resistance [6].

Progress in Ultrasound Research on Non-Mass Breast Lesions: Definition, Classification, and Differential Diagnosis
You are already at the latest version Non-mass lesions in breast ultrasound refer to abnormalities that exhibit different echogenicity from surrounding tissues but lack a distinct mass shape. Malignant breast lesions may also present as non-mass lesions on ultrasound, making accurate detection and diagnosis crucial for resolution. Currently, “non-mass breast lesions” are not included in ultrasound terminology of the 5th Edition Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System (BI-RADS).
Injectable Dual‐Network Hydrogel System for Osteochondral Repair Combining Immunomodulation, Mechanical Adaptability, and Enhanced Tissue Integration
1 Introduction Osteochondral defects, characterized by cartilage and subchondral bone damage, represent a significant clinical challenge in orthopedics and regenerative medicine. These defects often resulted from traumatic injuries or degenerative conditions such as osteoarthritis, leading to persistent pain, functional limitations, and a compromised quality of life for patients [1, 2].

Application of radiomics model based on lumbar computed tomography in diagnosis of elderly osteoporosis
1 INTRODUCTION Osteoporosis is a metabolic disease characterized by low bone mass, which may lead to destruction of bone structure and brittle fracture.1 Osteoporosis will bring huge burden to individuals and society.
Continuous Spectrum of Morphologies and Phase Behavior across the Contact Zone from Poly(l-lactide) to Poly(d-lactide): Stereocomplex, Homocrystal, and Between
Blending of poly(l-lactic acid) (PLLA) and poly(d-lactic acid) (PDLA) results in the formation of the so-called “stereocomplex” crystal form (SC) in which the PLLA and PDLA chains coexist. (1−3) SC attracts much attention because it has a significantly higher melting temperature and superior mechanical properties compared to the “homocrystal” (HC) formed by pure PLLA or PDLA enantiomers. (4−9) Obtaining high-performance PLA products in the SC form is thus of great technological interest.

Quantitative Analysis of the Effect of Reabsorption on the Raman Spectroscopy of Distinct (n, m) Carbon Nanotubes
Quantitative Analysis of the Effect of Reabsorption on the Raman Spectroscopy of Distinct (n, m) Carbon Nanotubes Shilong Li, Xiaojun Wei, Linhai Li, Jiaming Cui, Dehua Yang, Yanchun Wang, Weiya Zhou, Sishen Xie, Atsushi Hirano, Takeshi Tanaka, Hiromichi Kataura and huaping liu Abstract We quantitatively analyze the effect of reabsorption on the Raman spectroscopy of (10, 3) and (8, 3) single-chirality single-wall carbon nanotube (SWCNT) solutions by varying the detection depth in confocal...
