Ectropion uveae in a pediatric patient with refractory NF1-associated glaucoma: a 4-year case report
Abstract Background: Glaucoma secondary to neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) is a vision-threatening complication characterized by variable phenotypic expression. The prognostic significance of specific anterior segment signs, particularly ectropion uveae (EU), remains unclear. Case presentation: We report a 7-year-old girl with NF1 who presented with unilateral refractory glaucoma and prominent EU in the affected eye.
Design of Virtual Reserve Services Based on Spatially Transferable Loads in Data Centers
You are already at the latest version With the increasing penetration of renewable energy, cross-regional reserve sharing faces transmission congestion and high reserve procurement costs. This paper proposes a virtual reserve service framework based on spatially transferable loads in data centers.
Efficacy and safety of goniotomy and gonioscopy-assisted transluminal trabeculotomy for exfoliation glaucoma: a systematic review and single-arm meta-analysis
Abstract Objective: To assess the efficacy and safety of goniotomy (GT) and gonioscopy-assisted transluminal trabeculotomy (GATT) with or without phacoemulsification (PEI) for exfoliation glaucoma (XFG). Methods: Searches were conducted in PubMed, Scopus, Embase, Ovid, and the Web of Science. Two independent reviewers performed study selection, data extraction, and quality assessment.

Sensory network dysregulation in type 2 diabetes: Linking olfactory, visual, and cognitive function
1 INTRODUCTION Type 2 diabetes (T2D) is a global metabolic epidemic frequently complicated by multisystem complications,1 among which central nervous system impairment poses a major clinical challenge.
Exploring the Realization Pathways of Improving the Agricultural Green Production Level in the Major Grain-Producing Areas of China
1. Introduction Intensive agriculture sustains a large portion of the global population, but the heavy use of fertilizers and pesticides raises concerns among scholars about pollution [1]. That is why there is a big push to change how we farm: still obtaining plenty of good crops, but without wrecking the environment [2]. The US talks about “sustainable agriculture”, basically managing farms to keep them healthy and productive for the long haul [3]. Pimentel et al.

Altered functional connectivity of primary olfactory cortex‐hippocampus‐frontal cortex in subjective cognitive decline during odor stimulation
During olfactory stimulation, the subjective cognitive decline (SCD) showed significantly reduced functional connectivity (FC) between the bilateral primary olfactory cortex (bPOC) and the right hippocampus, and increased FC between the right hippocampus and right frontal cortex compared to the normal controls.
Human Brain Mapping | Neuroimaging Journal | Wiley Online Library
1 INTRODUCTION The olfactory and intranasal trigeminal systems convey complementary information that is merged via mutually enhancing and/or suppressive interactions (Brand, 2006; Doty et al., 1978). For example, the trigeminal component of an odorant (at least at higher concentrations) reduces human perception of odor intensities and qualities (Hummel et al., 2005; Laska et al., 1997).

Disruptions of the olfactory and default mode networks in Alzheimer's disease
Abstract Introduction Olfactory deficits are prevalent in early Alzheimer's disease (AD) and are predictive of progressive memory loss and dementia. However, direct neural evidence to relate AD neurodegeneration to deficits in olfaction and memory is limited.
