Transposable element-mediated structural variations shape gene expression and agronomic trait diversity in Brassica napus
Abstract Brassica napus is a globally important allotetraploid oilseed crop with a complex genome and extensive structural diversity that remains incompletely characterized. Here, we present gap-free reference genome assemblies for Zhongshuang 11 (ZS11) and Westar, and assemble six additional accessions. We harmonize gene annotations across 22 genomes and develop BnaScope (https://rgmi.hzau.edu.cn/bnascope), a gene-centric functional genomics platform.
Verification and optimization of impact-response consistency in human thoracic targets for blunt ballistic impact testing
Abstract Introduction: The validation of human thorax targets for blunt ballistic impact injury assessment is a critical component in investigating their impact responses. Existing studies generally validate physical and finite-element (FE) thoracic targets independently against standardized response corridors. However, whether these two targets produce quantitatively consistent responses under identical blunt ballistic impact conditions remains insufficiently investigated.
Galectin-9-driven immune evasion constrains radiotherapy-induced systemic antitumor immunity
While radiotherapy (RT) is a cornerstone of local tumor control, it rarely induces the regression of non-irradiated metastases, a phenomenon known as the abscopal effect. Overcoming this limitation to activate systemic antitumor immunity is an urgent unmet clinical need for metastatic disease. The specific immune evasion mechanisms that constrain this abscopal response remain poorly defined.

Critical Evaluation of HER2 PET Imaging in Metastatic Breast Cancer: Addressing Key Challenges and Future Directions
TO THE EDITOR: I read with great interest the study by Yeh et al. (1), which investigates the use of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) PET imaging to detect HER2-low lesions in patients with metastatic breast cancer (mBC). The authors propose that HER2 PET could offer significant insights into tumor heterogeneity and help optimize patient selection for HER2-targeted therapies such as trastuzumab deruxtecan.
Two-dimensional platinum diselenide (${{\rm PtSe}_2}$) with thickness-dependent semiconductor-to-semimetal transition has been explored as a potential material to support further optoelectronics. The number of ${{\rm PtSe}_2}$ layers can be modulated precisely by inductively coupled plasma (ICP) treatment under certain conditions. Here, an optimized ICP treatment was employed to fabricate a homogeneous metal/semiconductor coplanar structure based on ${{\rm PtSe}_2}$.

A broadband self-powered photodetector based on NiPS3
A broadband self-powered photodetector based on NiPS3† Self-powered photodetectors have been attracting more and more attention due to the energy shortage issues around the world. As a type of layered van der Waals material, NiPS3 has garnered much attention in the realms of optoelectronics. In order to excavate the possible self-powered potential of this material, we utilized the asymmetric electrode contact design in the device structure of a NiPS3-based photodetector.

High-performance self-powered photodetector based on SnP2S6 in visible light
High-performance self-powered photodetector based on SnP2S6 in visible light As promising candidates in optoelectronics, transition metal thiophosphates (MTPs) have attracted intensive research interest due to their strong light absorption and tunable bandgaps. As a member of the MTPs family, SnP2S6 have demonstrated significant potential in application of photodetectors (PDs). Here we report a SnP2S6-based metal-semiconductor-metal (MSM) photodetector with asymmetric electrode contacts.
[2308.02157] Improved Order Analysis and Design of Exponential Integrator for Diffusion Models Sampling
Efficient differential equation solvers have significantly reduced the sampling time of diffusion models (DMs) while retaining high sampling quality. Among these solvers, exponential integrators (EI) have gained prominence by demonstrating state-of-the-art performance. However, existing high-order EI-based sampling algorithms rely on degenerate EI solvers, resulting in inferior error bounds and reduced accuracy in contrast to the theoretically anticipated results under optimal settings.
Mechanism of Electron-Beam Manipulation of Single-Dopant Atoms in Silicon
Introduction Quantum information processing has surged in recent decades from a speculative idea (1) into a technological race for quantum supremacy. (2) Multiple viable architectures with various strengths and weaknesses have been proposed, (3) including solid-state qubits. Due to our reliance on and technological capabilities in silicon manufacturing, the nuclear spins of positively charged donor atoms within crystalline silicon have attracted particular interest.
