Abstract Background: Despite being a globally prevalent chronic liver disease, MASLD currently lacks any approved pharmacotherapy. MET and ATO individually confer benefits against MASLD, but their combined therapeutic effects have seldom been investigated. The current work aimed to verify the therapeutic benefits of their combined intervention on MASH. Methods: A MASH-like mouse model was established via HFD feeding combined with CCl4 injection, alongside an FFA-induced HepG2 steatosis model.

Abstract The macrotrabecular-massive (MTM) subtype of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is associated with aggressive biology and poor prognosis. We aimed to develop a CT-based artificial intelligence model (DeepCT-MTM) for the noninvasive prediction of MTM-HCC and investigate its prognostic utilities as well as biological underpinnings. A total of 3118 patients with HCC were included from 20 tertiary-care hospitals.

Structure, spectroscopic properties and optical temperature sensing behavior of glass-ceramics containing polymorphic CaTa2O6: Er3+/Yb3+ nanocrystals Novel glass-ceramics (GCs) containing polymorphic CaTa2O6: Er3+/Yb3+ nanocrystals are prepared by aerodynamic levitation method following with a heat-treatment of the precursor glasses (PG). Phase transition from cubic to orthorhombic crystal forms depending on the heat-treatment temperature is observed.
