One Case of Transvaginal and Transabdominal Oocyte Retrieval Guided by Ultrasound Probe: A Case Report
1 Introduction Prior to the emergence of in vitro fertilization (IVF) technology, harvesting human oocytes for research or clinical applications posed substantial challenges. The world's first IVF-ET infant, Louise Brown, born in 1978, was conceived via laparoscopic oocyte retrieval. Oocyte retrieval through cesarean section or laparoscopic surgery is not only costly and highly invasive but also lacks repeatability, making it inappropriate for multiple oocyte retrieval cycles.
Optimizing Surface Wettability for Confined H2–CH4 Clathrates in Porous Activated Carbon
1. Introduction Click to copy section linkSection link copied! Molecular hydrogen (H 2 ) is a promising green fuel, particularly for decarbonizing hard-to-abate sectors, (1,2) but its low volumetric density poses challenges for safe and efficient storage and transport. Gas clathrate hydrates are crystalline, water-based solids capable of trapping ( enclathrating ) gas molecules within nanoscale cages, (3,4) which have emerged as a promising medium for H 2 storage.
