Seasonal 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels in new childhood-onset SLE: associations with disease activity and peripheral lymphocyte subsets
Seasonal fluctuations can affect the 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25-(OH)D) levels in children, with higher concentrations observed in summer and autumn. 25-(OH)D is correlated with disease activity in SLE. However, relevant evidence is mainly derived from patients receiving long-term treatment, and studies focusing on paediatric populations remain scarce.

Predictors for the severity of acute aquaporin-4 immunoglobulin G-seropositive neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders: a prospective cohort study
Abstract Objective: The study aimed to investigate risk factors for disease severity in acute aquaporin-4 (AQP4) -IgG-seropositive neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSD) patients. Methods: This prospective cohort study enrolled 103 serum Aquaporin-4 Immunoglobulin G (AQP4-IgG)-positive NMOSD patients from the Department of Neurology, Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine, between April 2022 and June 2025.
