A&O Shearman supports China’s debut RMB sovereign green bond issuance in Hong Kong

A&O Shearman advised the joint lead managers on the issuance of RMB6 billion sovereign green bonds by the Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of China (MOF). This represents China's inaugural issuance of RMB sovereign green bonds in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and China’s second issuance of RMB-denominated sovereign green bonds. The issuance comprised two tranches, including RMB3bn 1.42% 3-year bonds and RMB3bn 1.56% 5-year bonds.

Supporting Nan Fung’s strategic tender offers and concurrent sustainability bonds issuance

A&O Shearman has advised the joint dealer managers and joint lead managers on the tender offers of the outstanding USD410 million 3.875% guaranteed notes due 2027 and USD500m 5.00% guaranteed notes due 2028, each issued by Nan Fung Treasury Limited and guaranteed by Nan Fung International Holdings Limited and the concurrent issuance of new USD500m 5.75% guaranteed sustainability bonds due 2036. The new bonds are listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

Abstract Urinary extracellular vesicles (uEVs) are promising biomarkers for prostate cancer (PCa). Although novel uEV-based biomarkers have advanced early diagnosis, their detection processes remain cumbersome and cost-prohibitive. The physical parameters of uEVs offer untapped predictive potential for PCa, providing a more convenient, rapid, and cost-effective diagnostic approach.
