The Greater Vernon area of the Okanagan region is currently under water restrictions and this includes agricultural users due to extremely dry conditions and water shortages in the area. According to a news release from the British Columbia Fruit Growers’ Assocation (BCFGA), growers in the area are asking that the remaining supply of water be managed to prevent orchard losses.
