Abraham Quintanilla, the devoted father and longtime manager of Tejano music legend Selena Quintanilla-Pérez, died Saturday. He was 86 years old. His son, A.B. Quintanilla III, announced the news on Instagram Saturday morning, writing "It's with a heavy heart to let you guys know that my Dad passed away today." The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. Born February 22, 1939, in Corpus Christi, Quintanilla began his music career in the 1950s as a member of the singing group Los Dinos.

UPDATE: ME's Office identifies one of the victims in Saturday's fatal boat collision

UPDATE: Monday - 2:45 p.m. - One of the men who was killed in a fatal boat collision on Saturday has been identified. The Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office has identified one of the victims as 50-year-old Colin Ocker. Ocker was on board a commercial pleasure boat when it was hit by a commercial tanker around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 15. UPDATE: Monday - 10:45 am - A body was recovered Monday morning in the Corpus Christi Ship Channel near Port Aransas according to reports from Coast Guard.
