Comparison of Polypropylene Toughening With Olefin Block Copolymer and Polyolefin Elastomers
1 Introduction Polypropylene (PP) is widely used in packaging, automotive, home appliances, daily necessities and other fields owing to its low density, excellent chemical resistance, ease of processing and significant cost advantages [1-7]. However, its relatively low impact strength significantly limits its application in certain scenarios.
Umbrella-type stretchable electrode arrays for long-term neural recording
Abstract Flexible implantable neural electrodes have been studied extensively due to their chronic single-unit recording capability over weeks or months. However, high-density stable recording of the same neuronal ensembles over years-long periods remains challenging. Here we address this challenge by developing umbrella-type stretchable electrode arrays, which are anchored to surrounding brain tissue, forming a seamless neuroelectronic interface.

TRIM21-mediated PRMT1 degradation attenuates colorectal cancer malignant progression - Cell Death & Disease
Abstract Tripartite motif-containing 21 (TRIM21) plays a crucial role in antiviral responses and autoimmune diseases. While the impact of TRIM21 on cancer has been studied in various tumors, its role in colorectal cancer (CRC) remains unclear. In this study, we found that TRIM21 expression is reduced in primary CRC tissues. Low levels of TRIM21 in CRC are associated with unfavorable clinicopathological characteristics and shorter survival.

Inflection Point Effect of Interturn Insulation for Transformer under Preload Stress
1. Introduction The 750 kV transformers that are crucial electrical equipment in the Yinchuan East converter station directly impact the safe and stable operation of Ultra-High-Voltage Power Grids in Northwest and North China. Many researchers have carried out a statistical analysis of transformer faults and found winding short-circuit faults are a common type of fault for transformers [1]. The breakdown and surface discharge of interturn insulation are the main causes of short-circuit faults [2].

Phosphorylated FOXQ1, a novel substrate of JNK1, inhibits sorafenib-induced ferroptosis by activating ETHE1 in hepatocellular carcinoma - Cell Death & Disease
Abstract Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a highly heterogeneous and malignant cancer with poor overall survival. The application of sorafenib is a major breakthrough in the treatment of HCC. In our study, FOXQ1 was significantly overexpressed in sorafenib-resistant HCC cells and suppressed sorafenib-induced ferroptosis. We found that phosphorylation of FOXQ1 at serine 248 is critical for the suppression of sorafenib-induced ferroptosis.

PRMT1-mediated PGK1 arginine methylation promotes colorectal cancer glycolysis and tumorigenesis - Cell Death & Disease
Abstract Many types of cancer cells, including colorectal cancer cells (CRC), can simultaneously enhance glycolysis and repress the mitochondrial tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle, which is called the Warburg effect. However, the detailed mechanisms of abnormal activation of the glycolysis pathway in colorectal cancer are largely unknown. In this study, we reveal that the protein arginine methyltransferase 1 (PRMT1) promotes glycolysis, proliferation, and tumorigenesis in CRC cells.
Analysis of Fine Fault Electrothermal Characteristics of Converter Transformer Reduced-Scale Model
1. Introduction In recent years, the UHVDC transmission system has ushered in a vigorous momentum of development [1]. As one of the indispensable key electrical components in this system, the stable operation of converter transformers is crucial to the safety and stable operation of the whole system [2]. Iron core is the core component of the converter transformers, and once failure occurs, it may lead to widespread power failure, resulting in huge economic losses [3].

A Mini-review of the Capability of Calcium-Based Binary Fluxing in Adjusting Coal Ash Flowability
Coal ash flowability determines whether the coal ash slag can be successfully discharged from entrained flow gasifiers, to a large extent. Traditional single CaO fluxing cannot perform well enough to meet the requirement of slagging gasifiers for the flowability of coal ash with extremely high SiO2 and Al2O3. Thus, this work reviewed the effect of Ca-bearing binary (CaO-Fe2O3, CaO-Na2O, and CaO-MgO) fluxing on ash flowability.

PRMT2 promotes RCC tumorigenesis and metastasis via enhancing WNT5A transcriptional expression - Cell Death & Disease
Abstract Protein arginine methyltransferase 2 (PRMT2) is involved in several biological processes via histone methylation and transcriptional regulation. Although PRMT2 has been reported to affect breast cancer and glioblastoma progression, its role in renal cell cancer (RCC) remains unclear. Here, we found that PRMT2 was upregulated in primary RCC and RCC cell lines. We demonstrated that PRMT2 overexpression promoted RCC cell proliferation and motility both in vitro and in vivo.

Dissolution of Cr2O3 into Coal Slag and Its Impact on Slag Flow Properties
In an entrained-flow coal gasifier, gasification slag derived from the melting of mineral matter in coal flows along the refractory wall and is tapped out. The refractory of spallation and dissolution enters into coal slag and can affect the slag flow properties, which are crucial for the entrained-flow gasifier’s smooth operation. Cr2O3 is one of the most common compositions of refractory materials and is selected to research the effect of refractory on the flow properties of slag.
