It usually arises from inflammation caused by bacteria, mycobacteria, fungi, or parasites (3). The pathogenesis of brain abscess is related to predisposing factors, such as contiguous infections, head trauma, neurosurgery, and hematogenous spread in patients with systemic infection or immunocompromise (3).
