1 Introduction All discrete computations of physical fields (such as stress, velocity, and temperature) are based on the topological and geometric quality of mesh elements [1]. Traditional quadrilateral meshes [2-7] (with poor geometric adaptability) and triangular meshes (with insufficient accuracy and stability) both have obvious shortcomings, which have provided impetus for the research on quad-dominant meshes.
