Abstract Achieving conformal attachment between flexible electronics and complex curved surfaces remains a fundamental challenge, as existing predictive methods are either computationally intensive or lack generality across arbitrary geometries. Here, we introduce a sliding-adhesion competition conformal model (SAM) based on differential geometry, which enables efficient and accurate prediction of conformability for arbitrary shape-surface mappings.
