Previously, John was the Managing Producer at Neon Hum Media, where he produced podcasts made in collaboration with Spotify, WeTransfer, The Advocate, and Sony Music. John also developed, produced, and launched several podcasts as a Senior Producer at Stitcher, including Sold In America, Dear Franklin Jones, and Just Between Us.
John has also produced podcasts and nationally broadcasted radio shows, including WNYC's The Takeaway and There Goes The Neighborhood; NPR's Talk of the Nation, Ask Me Another, Morning Edition, and Tell Me More. John is a graduate of Georgia State University, with degrees in Journalism and Communications.
On the side, John hosts Play It Back, an independent podcast where creatives tell stories about the songs that have changed their lives. He’s also a seasoned runner and cyclist, a longtime concert goer and vinyl collector, and a fledgling golfer and ukulele player. Forever he loves his hometown of Atlanta, yet he loves exploring Los Angeles by foot, bike, and car.
