1 Introduction Antipsychotic medications are typically used in the treatment of severe (also called serious) mental illness (SMI) (e.g., psychotic disorders, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder with psychotic experience). Newer, second-generation antipsychotic medications, such as olanzapine, have fewer extrapyramidal side effects, but they are associated with rapid and potentially significant weight gain [1].

An electronic tool has streamlined the screening and management of stroke patients eligible for research studies, allowing co-ordinated follow-up in line with trial protocols An electronic trial tracker tool was developed to streamline screening and management of stroke patients eligible for clinical trials. This replaced an old manual system that was time consuming, inefficient and prone to human error.
