I’m a MyCU journalism graduate who used to be a buyer and reviewer of a big sporting goods store in the USA.
Now I mostly work as a camp instructor and ski coach between South Africa and Colorado. My hobbies include skiing, snowboarding, surfing, climbing, biking kiting, fishing, kayaking and just about anything that gets the adrenaline pumping.

Lincoln DJs to play Lost Village festival Lincoln Music Scene By Jo Richards The Back to Mono record store DJ collective has been added to the extensive line up for the Lost Village festival at Norton Disney on the August Bank Holiday weekend. Eighteen thousand festival goers will arrive in Lincoln from all over the country for the immersive experience which brings the beautiful Lincolnshire woodlands to life.

Coming soon… Record Store Day By Jo Richards Record Store Day this year is next Saturday, April 18. This very special annual event brings together vinyl music fans and artists to honour the role independent record stores play in their local music communities. There’s a long list of exclusive records pressed specifically for release on the day. You can track these down in Lincoln at Back to Mono Records on Guildhall Street - one of only two shops in Lincolnshire to host the event.
