What was your first job as a journalist?

My first experience in reporting was interviewing former KKK leader David Duke when I was 12. My first job was as a Gambit Weekly intern.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes, but not for stories. I vaguely remember how to use dummy sheets and QuarkXPress to layout newspapers, and WordPerfect to write articles.

How is social media changing news?

Hits, clicks and tweets now replace circulation numbers. Blog postings now replace news articles in search engine rankings.
