Why did you become a journalist?
I loved to write, but I wanted a steady paycheck. That was a long time ago when the industry guaranteed a steady paycheck.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Learn as much as you can about everything, including grammar and style, because you're not going to have a lot of back up.

Diet Dr Pepper
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
In my craft room.
