Author Philip Yancey is mourning the passing of his assistant of 12 years, Joannie Barth. Yancey, who has authored 25 books, shared on social media saying, "For twelve years I have had only one employee, though she did the work of ten. Joannie Barth pulled me into the 21st century, introducing me to blogs and Facebook and building a mailing list of 15,000 subscribers."
