BaFin has announced immediate changes to its administrative practice for attributing and disclosing voting rights. Although this change might lead to greater certainty for ESG collaborative engagement firms will still need to consider the implications for their ESG collaboration among institutional investors and review their internal policies and procedures.

On 23 February 2026, the Single Resolution Board (SRB) updated its operational guidance on separability and transferability for more alignment and proportionality. The update follows a consultation that took place between 13 August 2025 to 22 October 2025. The SRB has also issued a Feedback Statement to the consultation.

On 23 February 2026, the European Banking Authority (EBA) published a follow-up report (the Report) of its peer review on information and communication technology (ICT) risk assessment under the Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process (SREP).
