Recently we decided to approach The Sandlot and its very different characters from a philosophical perspective.

June is here and that means summer is just around the corner. In other words, it’s time to start planning your swimming pool strategy. Summer is just about here and that means we’ll soon be spending a lot more time at the pool. Or at least we’ll be spending more time sneakily watching movies with great swimming pool scenes that we can lose ourselves in while actually suffering through another summer locked up at the office. But with so many movies utilizing pools — usually for the sake of showing off bikinied starlets — it can be hard to separate the wheat from the chaff.
