You pick a domain, choose a provider, they rent server space for you, and hey presto, you’ve got a website. As it turns out, there are multiple types of web hosting to choose from. For most people building their first website, the choice comes down to two options: shared or VPS. When I first came across the terms, they sounded like a different language.
