Back Line Delivers Two Goals In 2-1 Win Over Columbia In Home Opener
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Trailing 1-0 after 20 minutes the Lehigh men's soccer team got a pair of goals from its back line in the second half to rally past Columbia 2-1 Friday night at the Ulrich Sports Complex. Playing a man down for the final 12 minutes, sophomore Paul Smajlaj netted his first career goal in the 81st minute to lift the Mountain Hawks (2-0-1) to their second victory of the week. "It's always tough to win games against Ivy League teams," said Lehigh head coach Dean Koski.
Announcing TRIMRANGE and accompanying trim references
I’m excited to announce a new function, TRIMRANGE, and a set of new reference operators. NOTE: This is a preview function. Its signature and results may change substantially before being broadly released, based on your feedback. So, we do not recommend using it in important workbooks until it is generally available.
New%20aggregation%20functions%3A%20GROUPBY%20and%20PIVOTBY
I’m excited to announce Excel's new GROUPBY and PIVOTBY functions. These functions allow you to perform data aggregations using a single formula. And while these functions are extremely powerful, they are also simple to get started with. In fact, you can do a data aggregation with just 3 arguments, the same number as a simple XLOOKUP. Note: These are preview functions, their signature and results may change substantially before final release based on user feedback.
Stale Value Formatting
I’m excited to announce a significant improvement to one of spreadsheeting's oldest features - Manual calculation mode. Manual calculation mode debuted in VisiCalc in 1979 (44 years ago), 6 years before the first release of Excel. Since its release, the user experience has remained largely the same, until now. Stale Value Formatting Manual calculation mode suspends calculations, which means that the values in cells can become out of date. We refer to these as being stale.

Annoucing XLOOKUP, successor to the iconic VLOOKUP
08-28-2019 09:00 AM We are excited to announce XLOOKUP, successor to the iconic VLOOKUP function. Before I describe XLOOKUP, I want to take a moment to reflect on VLOOKUP's incredible history and impact on spreadsheeting. VLOOKUP has been with Excel from the beginning; it was included in Excel 1 for Macintosh released in 1985. For 34 years, VLOOKUP has been the first lookup function learned by Excel users and our 3rd most used function (after SUM and AVERAGE).
Excel Dynamic Array Improvements
Since announcing dynamic arrays, we’ve received an overwhelmingly positive response from the community. Being a fundamental change to the way formulas work, we wanted to take some time to gather and incorporate user feedback. Below are some of the improvements we've made. Dynamic Arrays in Action Introducing the Implicit Intersection Operator: @ Regular Excel formulas had a calculation behavior called implicit intersection that would silently select a single value from an array of values.
