A popular Calmore pub has reopened after changing hands in recent weeks. The Saxon Inn in Calmore Drive, reopened at the end of May and is set to host an official launch party on Saturday, June 13 from 7pm. Management is keen to make it clear that they have no connection to the previous owners.

ExxonMobil apologises for mystery smell from Fawley refinery

ExxonMobil has apologised for "odours" coming from Fawley refinery. The petro-chemical refinery complex in Fawley has launched an investigation into a mystery smell affecting areas around the site. A spokesperson for ExxonMobil Fawley apologised and said the were working to quell the scent and said there were "no health concerns" to those working or living at the site.
