I worked as an unpaid intern for a startup company after graduating college.

It means taking the time to provide readers with truthful and insightful news and stories. Always double check your sources.

Why did you become a journalist?
As an avid sports fan, I wanted to use my sports knowledge professionally.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No, because I was too busy playing sports. However, I worked for my college newspaper.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I’ve had a few different ones. I like to write stories that include breakdowns of sports so I can lean on my experience.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Keep grinding. It won’t be easy, but if you keep pursuing your dreams someone will notice.

Playing basketball or baseball, or hanging out by the lake

ESPN, MLB.com, or just about any sports publication.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
People think ClutchPoints only covers NBA. However, we cover all sports. NFL, MLB, Golf, tennis, hockey, etc.
